Profile

I have been working in Product Lifecycle Management since 2001, and I am still as enthusiastic about it as on day one. I come from IT, but I think about PLM systemically: for me it neither stops at the borders of the engineering department nor at the limits of a single tool.

I look at PLM holistically along the entire value chain, from requirements through development, change and release processes to manufacturing, suppliers and service. As PLM Architect, and since September 2025 also as Domain Owner PLM at dSPACE, I make sure that processes, data and systems fit together end to end, so that information reaches the people who need it without gaps. I have seen my role this way for a long time, even when it wasn’t on my business card.

My projects include the worldwide rollout of CONTACT CIMDatabase (now CONTACT Elements) at dSPACE for around 300 users, with three CAD systems, integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, connected manufacturers and suppliers, and a consolidated item master. At Diebold Nixdorf I was responsible for a complex PLM landscape with 70 servers and consolidated it for 1,200 users at six sites worldwide. What drives me most is bringing business, IT and engineering together so that, in the end, everyone enjoys working with the system.

     Worldwide service management, change and support for PLM enterprise applications. Responsible for a complex on-premises PLM landscape with 70 servers and numerous interfaces to other enterprise applications.
   • Project: Consolidation of the PLM landscape 03/2017 – 01/2022
     1,200 users at six sites worldwide, replacement of legacy PLM platforms and support for plant-specific bills of materials.
